Mr. Benedict Wong is an Executive Councilor and Chairman of the Certification, Complaint and Compliance Committee of the Association. He is a Founder, Fellow Member, and former Chairman of Association from 2000 – 2010.

Benedict is Co-Founder and President & CEO of Total Credit & Risk Management Group. He founded Total Credit & Risk Management Group jointly with Mr. Neil Wood in 1987. For the past 34 years of dedication to the credit, risk and compliance management industry, he has contributed various articles, industry newsletters and appeared in several television interviews for local and international media. He has also been a guest speaker at various seminars and conferences in Europe, Asia Pacific and USA, where he has spoken about credit, collection and risk management topics, focusing on the global arena.

In July 2000, Benedict was awarded the "International Paul Bunyan" which is ACA's highest international honour. This award is designed to recognize the individual who, during the past year, has been judged as having made the greatest contribution to ACA and the credit and collection industry outside of the USA. In July 2002, he was again awarded as "ACA International Member of the Year" (renamed from “International Paul Bunyan”).

In June 2001, Benedict was accredited as a Master Credit Executive (MCE), from the Society of Certified Credit Executives (now known as Society of Certified Credit & Collection Professionals (SCCCP)). The MCE designation is reserved exclusively for credit professionals who have demonstrated extraordinary professional and leadership capabilities in the credit industry.

Benedict previously served as GCS Group's Regional Director – Asia from 2000 to 2013, served as ACA International's Asia-Pacific Director from 1999 to 2001 and held the post of Chairman of the International Unit of ACA International between 2001-2003. Since 2011, he has been Chairman of ASIAGATE Group.
