Mr. Chan is an Executive Councilor of the Hong Kong Credit & Collection Management Association (HKCCMA) and has been engaged in the credit management field for over 16 years in telecommunication, IT distributors, engineering consultancy and electronic industry. He is a Fellow Member of the association and has been participating in membership affairs since 2009. Philip currently serves as the Secretary, Treasurer of the Association.

In 2009, Mr. Chan was accredited the CCP from The Hong Kong Credit & Collection Management Association (HKCCMA) and ACA International. The CCP designation is reserved to recognize credit professionals in Hong Kong who have practiced in, and have knowledge of, the laws and practices in Hong Kong and mainland China. Besides, Mr. Chan is a graduate from a university in UK with an honors degree in Accounting and Finance.
