“TGIF-Grande”event cancellation announcement

After careful consideration, the HKCCMA's Executive Committee has made the difficult decision to cancel this year's TGIF-Grande, scheduled for 17 July at the Sala Penha (25/F Fellowship Room), Club Lusitano in Central, Hong Kong.

Following the new announcement by the Hong Kong Government on tighter social-distancing rules (which come into effect this weekend, after the number of local coronavirus cases hit a record high of 34 on Thursday), we felt this was the best way to proceed during such an unprecedented situation. We are very disappointed that we are unable to hold this unique and special event for our members. But we know it's the right decision based on the circumstances.

In the meantime, thank you for your patience and understanding – we look forward to seeing you again as soon as the social-distancing rules are relaxed again!!
