Distinguished Guests, Members, Ladies and Gentlemen:
Welcome to the HKCCMA Annual General Meeting 2022/2023! In addition to introducing HKCCMA's achievements last year, we will also announce the winner of CMEA (Credit Management Excellence Award).

At this point, my sincere thanks to the 2022-2023 Committee Members for their loyalty and contribution provided to this Association.

1)"ESG Governance and Risk Management"




On Jul 21st 2022, the Education Committee organized a ESG webinar. The webinar was addressed by Mr. Edward Lau, Consulting Director of Verona Risk Management Ltd. Edward analyzed the status quo and trend of integrating ESG with credit management. Over 50 viewers were recorded. Viewer may go into our Youtube channel to replay the recordings.

2)"ESG Series-Climate Risk Management Forum"




Beside financial risks, non-financial risks are affecting sustainability of businesses to a large extent.
HKCCMA presented the ESG Series-Climate Risk Management Forum on October 27th 2022. The web forum received great responses among our members and guests with over 80 viewers recorded.

• Our Achievement: Reaching Out




Our Chairman, Mr. Bobby Rozario, has reached out to meet with counterparts in Guangdong and Canada.  

In May, Mr. Rozario and Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of Guangdong Credit Association, Ms. Zhang Hong Li, held two rounds of meeting in Guangzhou. Ideas on establishing joint professional designation programs and formulating credit standards in the Greater Bay Area were explored.

In September, our Chairman has also met with Mr. Nawshad Khadaroo, CCP, General Manager of Credit Institute of Canada in Toronto, Canada. We have come to a mutual understanding to develop an educational program for credit and collection practitioners in the Greater Bay area including Hong Kong, Guangdong and Macau.

In August 2022, HKCCMA was invited to be a panel advisor for the Jiangmen Law Reform Commission to publish a "Standards on Commercial Credit Rating". The standard No. T/GDXY001-2022 was officially released on the National Group Standard Information Platform on December 23, 2022, and comes into force on December 24, 2022.

HKCCMA has determined to publish a credit utility tool book in Chinese for the China market. With the rapidly changing economic landscape in China, it has become increasingly important for credit management professionals to have access to the latest tools and techniques. This publication offers practical advice and guidance on a range of credit management topics including credit risk assessment, credit monitoring, collections, and legal considerations with 12 chapters.

We plan to launch the tool book before our 2023-2024 AGM and it will also be available for purchase through our website. We encourage all of our members to take advantage of this opportunity and get their copy of the credit utility tool book as soon as it becomes available.

• Our Achievement:
Quarterly TGIF




The Public Relations Committee managed to hold two TGIF for members and guests in Q2 and Q3 of 2022.TGIF has been a long tradition of the Association; an informal gathering session for members and guests to gather and network. It has been one of the most popular events of the Association besides the AGM.

• Other Issues:




2022 continue to be a difficult year for most of us. The Association has endeavored to maintain it normal course of business during the year despite having to postpone or cancel some of our main regular events.

➤Professional Designation Examination
We have revitalized our CCP Professional Designation Examination. Details will be announced in the first quarter of 2023.

➤New Association Website
A new Association website will be promulgated in the second quarter of 2023.
