  1. Temporary Planning Committee established.
  2. Temporary Planning Committee held its first meeting at the office of Ms. Christine Loh, ex-legislative Councilor and Chairman of Citizen Party.
  3. Association established.
  4. First Executive Council Members elected.
  5. Announced Mission Statement and Objects and Purposes of the Association.
  6. Published Code of Ethics for Members.
  7. Executive Council approved Honourary Advisors list.

2000 - 2001
  1. Association launched its official web site.
  2. Association submitted its response letter to Hong Kong Monetary Authority on the Proposal to set up a Commercial Credit Reference Agency.
  3. Conduct first survey on the Law Reform Commission on the Proposal to establish a licensing regime for the debt collection agencies and criminal offence of harassment.

  5. Association responded to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority in seeking the Association's knowledge of the general practices of “Commission Fee Structure” in the debt collection industry.
  6. Executive Council approved the slogan of the Association "Navigator of your .Profession".
  7. Chairman of Association was awarded the highest honour by the ACA International for his delegations to the credit and collection industry.
  8. Two Members of Association were certified as Master Credit Executive of the Society of Certified Credit and Collection Executives in US.
  9. First Annual General Meeting held at Ritz Carleton Hotel.
  10. New Executive Council Members elected.

2001 - 2002
  1. Web site provided membership login and Credit Quiz features.
  2. Association provided sponsor to Society of Certified Credit and Collection Executives to establish professional designation in Hong Kong .
  3. Published first directory for local credit and collection practitioners "Who's Who of Credit and Collection Practitioners - 2002 Edition ".
  4. Seven members received Certified Executive designations of the Society of Certified Credit and Collection Executives in US.
  5. Second Annual General Meeting held at Park Lane Hotel.
  6. Association had 45 members

2002 - 2003
  1. Established Annual "Credit Practitioner of the Year Award" to recognize contribution of local credit practitioners in the past year .
  2. Web site provided Discussion Forum feature .
  3. Revise Association's Memorandum and Articles of Association to accept overseas individual and corporate members.
  4. Media resourced to the Association for over ten times in the year on credit and collection related topics.
  5. Association lobbied with local legislative councilors on establishing a healthier credit environment in Hong Kong.
  6. First winner of the "Credit Practitioner of the Year" announced.
  7. Association had 65 members .

2003 - 2004
  1. Association assisted overseas academic institution to promote recruitment day in Hong Kong.
  2. Recruited sponsor for "Credit Practitioner of the Year Award".
  3. Association published second directory "Who's Who of Credit and Collection Practitioners in Hong Kong and Guangdong 2004".
  4. Established Committees on Survey, Education, Membership, Annual Award and Certification.
  5. Launched quarterly Mix_at_Six. After work social gathering for members and practitioners.
  6. Chairman was announced "Member of the Year" by ACA International .
  7. Second winner of the "Credit Practitioner of the Year" announced.
  8. Association had 116 members.

2004 - 2005
  1. Education Committee held free seminars for members and practitioners.
  2. Survey Committee organized 3 polls through web sites on different credit and collection topics.
  3. Membership Committee organized promotion of the Association together with "Credit Manager Club" in China .
  4. Certification Committee signed new sponsorship arrangement to establish local examination for professional designation together with ACA International.
  5. Web site received 40 enquiries from local and overseas entities on credit and collection issues in Hong Kong and China in the year.
  6. Third winner of "Credit Practitioner Award " announced.
  7. Certification Committee submitted first draft of examination questions.
  8. Hit rate of Association reached 4000 times per month.
  9. Certification Committee renewed professional designation sponsor and confirmed examination questions and other details.
  10. Membership Committee organized seminar with "Credit Managers' Club" in Guangzhou.
  11. Membership Committee organized "Career Talk" for members and practitioners.
  12. China lawyer became Honorary China Legal Advisor for the Association.
  13. Association had 120 members.

2005 - 2006
  1. Executive Council renamed as Executive Committee.
  2. Established Treasurer and Secretary position in Executive Committee.
  3. Publication Committee formed.
  4. Created new staff position. Director of Public Relations.
  5. First CCP examination in Hong Kong was held in March.
  6. Second CCP examination in Hong Kong was held in September
  7. Third edition of the Who's Who of Credit and Collection Management was published.
  8. 2007 "Credit Practitioner Award" winner announced.
  9. Education Committee provided first in-house seminar for member corporation.
  10. Survey Committee announced result on Credit Management Profolio.
  11. HKCCMA attended meeting of credit group of the electronic industry.
  12. Three credit practitioners passed the Certification program and awarded the CCP designation.
