Mr. Heng, an Executive Councilor of the Hong Kong Credit & Collection Management Association (HKCCMA), has been engaged in field of financial, professional and credit risks management for over 22 years. His has served HKCCMA since 2000. He was the Chairman of Membership Committee in 2003 and panel committee member of the Editorial, Annual Award and Certification Committees between 2002 – 2005. He was the Chief Editor of the bi-annual publication of the ” Who's Who of Credit and Collection Practitioners in Hong Kong & Guangdong 2004 Edition”. Mr. Heng is a Fellow member of the Association.

Mr. Heng is currently an Executive Director of Swinglehurst Asia Limited, a specialty insurance broker with focus in niche insurance products for the Hong Kong and Asian markets. The company transacts insurance and reinsurance broking business in specific classes of insurance such as Trade Credit and Political Risks, Directors & Officers Liabilities, Professional Indemnity, Aquaculture, Agriculture, Livestock & Bloodstock, Surety & Bonds, Environment Liability, Warranty and other Special and Contingency risks.

Prior to joining Swinglehuest Asia Limited, Mr. Heng was with the world’s oldest insurance company which is still trading today since its formation in 1710 - Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance plc (RSA), Hong Kong Branch. He was instrumental in heading the Credit Management team in 1998 and putting in place Credit Management Procedure for the Hong Kong operation. He subsequently taken up the role of trading underwriter in the Professional & Financial Risks Practice responsible for underwriting and marketing of insurance in Directors’ & Officers’ Liability, Employment Practice Liability, Professional Indemnity and Insolvency Practitioners Bond. His last tenure with RSA was in the area of Brokers and Agents Development within the Sales and Marketing team.

In 1994, Mr. Heng was accredited by Credit Institute of Canada (CIC) a professional designation of FCI (Fellow Credit Institute). The FCI designation (now known as The Certified Credit Professional, CCP) is widely recognized as standards for excellence and integrity in Credit Risk Management. CIC is the largest fraternity in Canada and the only organization, which grants official designations to professionals in the Canadian credit field. CIC was created by a special Act of Parliament on June in 1928.

In 2002, Mr. Heng was accredited the CCCE designation (Certified Consumer Credit Executive) from ACA International Association (Formerly known as the Society of Certified Credit and Collection Professionals (SCCCP). The CCCE designation is reserved for those credit professionals who have demonstrated knowledge and expertise in specific skill areas by meeting specific requirements.

He has graduated with a degree in Management & Economics from a Canadian university.
Mr. Heng has been an active participant in the insurance industry in Hong Kong. He was the President of The Chinese Underwriters Club (CUC) in 2009 -2010 and was the Honorary Treasurer for 3 consecutive terms. CUC was founded in Hong Kong in 1976 and served as a forum for industry discussions, as a platform for business promotion, as a source of technical training, as an organizer of social activities, and as a promoter of fraternity among members of the insurance community.

He is also a member of The Chartered Insurance Institute, The Insurance Institute of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Chamber of Insurance Intermediaries and Hong Kong Insurers Club.
