The
SCCE is a particularly good fit for the Hong Kong association, as
80 percent of its members work on the credit side and the other 20
percent work in collections. The Essential Guide to Credit
Management and Debt Recovery in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia,
written by HKCCMA cofounder Bobby
Rozario, MCE, will serve as the
reference material and basis for certification testing.
"It's certainly a milestone, not only to Hong Kong Credit and
Collection Management Association (HKCCMA), but to every
individual in credit and collection field in Hong Kong and
Mainland China, as we have never had this type of certification
program here", Wong said. The Hong Kong chapter of SCCE
means a never-before opportunity to credit and collection
professionals to certify themselves through an established,
reputable and recognized body.
Wong went on to say
that, "The SCCE-HKCCMA certification program will mark of
professionalism of our industry in Hong Kong, increasing public
awareness that these practitioners are part of the professional
bodies and industry associations and have attained a certain level
of achievement in their careers."
Traynor has also been in
talks with credit industry leaders in Germany and Argentina to develop a
similar program in those courtries.
"A credit
management certification program like the one we offer will add
more credibility to the credit and collections industries".
Traynor said, making a Society franchise particularly appealing to
overseas credit professionals."
The HKCCMA hopes to
begin accepting applications for SCCE certification by the end of
the year
